As we age, our bodies undergo several changes. Some of these changes can be uncomfortable and may slow down our movement and productivity. It’s important to know that while hormonal changes can make you less efficient at carrying out your daily functions, certain lifestyle changes can help to alleviate these symptoms. In this post, we’ll look at some of the most common lifestyle changes that can help alleviate menopausal symptoms associated with pre-menopausal estrogen.
Premarin, or conjugated estrogen, is the brand name for, a mixture of estrogen hormones that are produced by the, an androgen receptor gene. These hormones are essential for regulating and maintaining hormonal balance during menopause.
Premarin is commonly used to help relieve menopausal symptoms. It contains the active ingredient conjugated estrogens, which are the same active ingredients found in medicines used to treat breast cancer and prostate cancer. These hormones support the body’s natural production of testosterone.
Breast cancer is a highly prevalent disease that affects approximately 5.3 billion women in the U. S. and is the second cause of cancer-causing death in women of reproductive age. According to the American Urological Association, approximately 20% of postmenopausal women are diagnosed with breast cancer, making it the third-leading cause of cancer-related death in the United States.
Research indicates that estrogen levels in the body can be lowered by taking estrogen supplements. One such supplement that has shown significant benefits for treating hormone-sensitive prostate cancer is Premarin. Premarin is a conjugated estrogen hormone that contains the same active ingredient as conjugated estrogens, and it works by blocking the production of estrogen in the body.
Premarin works by inhibiting the action of a chemical called androgens, which are essential for maintaining androgen balance in the body. By doing so, it prevents the production of estrogen from the body, which helps to reduce the risk of developing hormone-sensitive prostate cancer.
Premarin is a conjugated estrogen hormone made from the body’s own urine. The active ingredient in Premarin is conjugated estrogens, which are the same active ingredients found in medicines used to treat breast cancer and prostate cancer. These hormones support the body’s natural production of testosterone and support the maintenance of androgen balance.
Premarin is most effective when started within one to three months of menopause. However, it’s important to continue taking the supplement for as long as your body requires it to support the overall health of your body.
There are several benefits of taking Premarin for menopausal symptoms:
Effective Estrogen Therapy: Premarin is often the first line of treatment for hormone-sensitive prostate cancer and can be beneficial for treating symptoms related to this cancer.
Suppressive Support of Post-Menopause Health: Premarin has shown significant benefits in relieving menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, and mood swings. It’s important to note that Premarin is not a cure for menopausal symptoms and should be used in combination with other therapies to maximize benefits.
Better Breast Protection: Premarin can help protect the breast lining, which helps prevent the spread of cancer and other estrogen-related symptoms. It can also help reduce the risk of developing breast cancer, making it easier for people to enjoy sexual activities.
Improved Bone Absorption: Premarin is also known to improve bone health by reducing the risk of osteoporosis and decreasing the amount of calcium that is absorbed into the bloodstream. It’s also beneficial for those with osteoporosis because it helps prevent the bones from absorbing too much calcium.
Reduced Risk of High-Grade Menopausal Depression: Premarin is also known to have a positive impact on the risk of developing high-grade menopausal hormone receptor-positive breast cancer, which can occur after menopause. It can help lower the risk of developing breast cancer and other high-grade tumors.
