Premarin Vaginal Cream is a hormonal medication that contains the active ingredient called Premarin. It is primarily used to treat hormone-related vaginal symptoms such as irritation, burning and difficulty opening. It may also be prescribed for other conditions such as ringworm. Premarin Vaginal Cream should be used with caution in patients with a history of breast cancer, high blood pressure, or liver or kidney disease. It should not be used in patients with Peyronie 2a on chemotherapy or with certain medical conditions.
Dosage and Administration:
The usual adult dose of Premarin Vaginal Cream is a single 2g application twice daily. However, a higher dose is advised for daily use and can be omitted if� is successful. The recommended dose for treatment of hormone-related vaginal symptoms is usually 2 grams three times a day ifh vaginal discharge is seen, as directed by your doctor. Treatment should be stopped at the first sign of an recurring lack of urine or blushing, at least once daily. Premarin Vaginal Cream is not recommended for use in women who have had a hysterectomy, breast cancer, or malignancy. Premarin Cream is not expected to be harmful if it is given to children. The medication may cause stomach bleeding in some patients. If you develop any of the following symptoms while using Premarin Vaginal Cream: sudden vision loss, confusion, fast heartbeat, or chest pain, stop using Premarin Vaginal Cream and call your doctor straight away; your age can cause problems; you have had vomiting, loose stools, or abdominal pain while using Premarin Vaginal Cream, or you have experienced symptoms of stomach pain in the past; or if you notice any side effects, contact your doctor straight away: you have new or worsening pain in your lower back, chest pain, or fever, or unusual vaginal bleeding. If you notice any of the following symptoms while using Premarin Vaginal Cream: unusual vaginal bleeding, fast heartbeat, fast breathing, slow heartbeat, or tingling in your hands, left or right left eyes, or other symptoms, contact your doctor straight away.

Disclose all medications, including prescriptions, non-prescriptions, vitamins, and herbs, as interactions with Premarin 0.625mg tablet are possible. If you are planning for surgery or bedrest, consult your healthcare provider, and if breastfeeding, be aware that the tablet's estrogen hormones may pass into breast milk. Also, notify your physician about any gallbladder disease risk, as estrogens can elevate this risk. Discontinue estrogen use if severe hypercalcemia, vision loss, extreme hypertriglyceridemia, or cholestatic jaundice arises. For women on thyroid replacement therapy, closely monitor thyroid function.

Estradiol levels should be monitored and adjusted as needed during the course of treatment to ensure the treatment is working effectively. Premarin 0.625mg tablet can also increase the risk of uterine bleeding. Premarin 0.625mg tablet can decrease the absorption of certain medications, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, and naproxen, which are used to relieve pain and reduce inflammation. Therefore, women who are taking Premarin 0.625mg tablet should carefully read the tablet instructions and follow the dosage recommendations.
